The Central Bank of Liberia’s (CBL) Data Warehouse provides fast and open access to key economic and financial indicators, enabling policymakers, financial institutions, researchers, and the public to track developments in the Liberian economy. The Bank’s authority to collect, compile, and publish these statistics is established under the CBL Amended and Restated Act of 2020. Section 65 requires the Bank to collect statistical information deemed relevant for the achievement of its objectives and all economic agents with in the Republic of Liberia shall be required to furnish the Bank with information or data as may be required. Section 65 also grants the CBL the legal authority to define the statistical information required, the form in which it must be provided to the CBL and the natural or legal persons subject to the reporting requirements. The provision also empowers the Bank to publish and disseminate the statistics its collects consistent with international data dissemination standards.

Together, these provisions give the Data Warehouse a strong legal foundation and reinforce Liberia’s commitment to open data and evidence‑based economic management. Updated regularly, with revisions made as needed, the platform ensures users have access to the most accurate and up‑to‑date information available.
